From the beginning, Punkapocalyptic has been open to playing with miniatures from any brand, even in official tournaments. We find it ridiculous to prohibit someone from playing with what they like, and no ‘hobby police’ can come to your house to stop you. What we want is for people to play Punka, and the more people play, the more chances there are for them to buy our minis, which we try to make as cool as possible and will always be fully within the aesthetic and equipment of the game.
Times have changed, and more and more brands are selling 3D miniatures. We have adapted, and now that it’s possible to offer prints with quality as good as production, we are moving towards selling minis printed by us. So, we decided to combine these two things, and taking advantage of the fact that there are some really cool 3D miniatures from other brands that offer commercial licenses to sell their prints, we will be offering them. Sometimes there will be more, sometimes less, depending on the agreements we reach, and if the miniatures are fully compatible in aesthetics and quality with what Punka is. We’re starting with a couple that are already in our online store.
The good thing is that you will have these miniatures at the maximum quality in resin printing, just like those in our catalog. They will, of course, still count towards free shipping or pattern discounts and will allow us to offer you more variety of miniatures and even cover some gaps that could take us years to fill ourselves, as we are a small company and cannot cover so much.
You can distinguish these miniatures as they will carry the ‘Punkapocalyptic Compatible’ logo that you see above, in addition to indicating which company modeled them.
